The Workforce Password Management solution helps companies overcome the unique user authentication and auditing challenges presented by business applications requiring an individual username and password credentials. With Workforce Password Management, users can quickly add passwords for their business applications to a centralized User Portal and securely access apps with a click of a button.

Secured text-based items such as serial numbers, licenses, PINs or other confidential secrets can be secured within this solution in addition to credentials. Behind the scenes, the passwords are securely stored in the CyberArk Identity Cloud or self-hosted CyberArk Vault. Further, the included multi-factor authentication (MFA) capabilities reduce the risk of unauthorized access to business app credentials.

Securely Store, Share and Manage Passwords

With the Workforce Password Management capability, organizations can store all password-based credentials for business applications in the CyberArk Identity Cloud or CyberArk self-hosted vault. This provides companies flexibility to decide how accounts and credentials are stored, managed, and retrieved. For example, customers with existing CyberArk vaults can automatically store all new credentials in their self-hosted vaults and allow users to retrieve them without connecting to a VPN. In addition, administrators can require users to pass secondary authentication challenges to log in to their User Portal to access credentials for individual applications.

Implement Stronger Controls

The Workforce Password Management capability provides visibility into the end-user access activity and enables stronger controls over password-based credentials. For example, administrators can use out-of-the-box reporting to determine which users accessed a specific application or website during a particular time. With the CyberArk Identity Browser extension, administrators can also prevent users from saving passwords in the built-in browser password managers, reducing the number of account and credential repositories.

Simplify Access to Business Apps

The included CyberArk Identity Browser Extension automatically recognizes when new passwords are entered, helps generate complex passwords, saves them in the cloud or self-hosted vault, and adds application shortcuts to users’ individual User Portals. End users simply click on app shortcuts to launch applications, and Browser Extension opens up login pages and fills out stored credentials.
