KKR Intentions to Acquire VMware's EUC: Partner Continuity

 Private equity firm KKR has officially declared its intention to acquire VMware's End User Computing business in a deal valued at $4 billion. Following the acquisition of VMware by Broadcom acquisition, Broadcom will divest VMware's End User Computing business, encompassing VDI solutions, prompting solution providers to handle end-user products separately from other cloud offerings. Despite these changes, certain exceptions have been granted, allowing partners to utilize familiar portals and tools on Partner Connect for all end user computing-related matters until at least February 5, 2024, maintaining continuity under the existing terms and conditions. 

Carbon Black: Extended Partner Connect Opportunities

 Carbon Black partners have the opportunity to extend their participation in the Partner Connect Program beyond February 5, 2024, maintaining existing terms and conditions until May 6, 2024.

Even if not selected as a Broadcom-authorized VMware reseller, partners can continue conducting business through Carbon Black. This includes registering Carbon Black deal registration opportunities with a reduced threshold of $1,000 for license deals. Additionally, partners can access essential resources such as product announcements, updated FAQs, current price lists and sales incentives. The Partner Connect Portal remains a central hub for pricing and licensing releases, Partner University training, submission of support requests and staying informed through the Partner Demand Center.
