Maximize Visibility. Minimize Cyber Risks. Modernize the Public Sector.

An untapped resource for improved security visibility and control in the public sector lies in core network services.

Unlike any other time in history, global and local forces are dramatically changing the way people work, play, commute or perform the daily tasks of life. This puts a strain on municipalities and other government agencies that must adapt and expand the services they can provide, including those that depend on highly distributed networks of devices that range from traditional ‘computers’ to internet of things/operational technology (IoT/OT) equipment. Plus, with equally rapid innovations in the threat landscape, experts are struggling to improve the capabilities of the security stack and the efficiency of security operations.

An untapped resource for improved security visibility and control, as well as several Security Operations — or SecOps — efficiencies, may lie in core network services. DNS can help detect and block even the most evasive threat activity that other defenses miss. And, along with other network data, it can be used to speed up threat investigations and drive more effective incident response. Proactively, this same visibility can help identify critical vulnerabilities, shadow IT applications and devices and other risks before they can impact the agency, its services or the public. Infoblox’s solutions allows customers to understand the role of DNS in today’s cyberattacks and how it can be used to increase the ability to securely deliver existing or expanded services.
